All our programmes are designed to be flexible to ensure that we can motivate and inspire all our students and help reverse the declining trend in those taking languages at GCSE and A Level. We are committed to helping schools engage their students in foreign language learning and increase language take up post Key Stage 3.

Experience Sessions

The Language Faculty provides sessions of various different levels in Greek, Spanish, Japanese, German, Dutch, French, Polish, Russian, Mandarin, Cantonese and Italian. Our range is continually expanding however so please get in touch no matter which language you would like us to provide. Our sessions can serve as a taster of a brand new language or languages, or as an opportunity to do something different with a language already being studied, possibly focusing on communication or cultural factors for example, or on countries that use the target language which are perhaps less familiar to students. The sessions can be tailored to various lengths and we also offer an Experience Day where students meet all four different languages in separate sessions. We work with you to ensure that we design a session that is appropriate for the level your students are at and achieve the aims that you have for the group.

Lunchtime and After School Clubs

We offer communication based sessions which function wonderfully as after school clubs. It's a great way to enthuse students about languages and other cultures, have some fun and learn something new! Sessions are available in Greek, Spanish, Japanese, German, Dutch, French, Russian, Mandarin, Cantonese and Italian.

Speaking Practice for GCSE and AS/A2 Level Oral Exams

We know that teachers have limited time and it can be difficult to find the opportunity to provide each individual student with the practice they need to gain in confidence and be well prepared for speaking exams. We therefore offer a support service where we come into your school or college and practice elements of the exams with your students, either taking individuals or small groups out during lesson time or providing separate sessions.

GCSE and AS/A2 Tuition

Not only do we provide one to one tutoring to students studying languages at GCSE and AS/A2 Level at school and college, we also offer individuals the opportunity to study for these qualifications with us in their own time on a one to one basis. Exams must be taken at a registered test centre but we offer advice and guidance on registering as an external candidate at a local institution.
