Projects
In addition to our normal services we occasionally run special projects, courses or one-off events. You will be able to find details of all of them in this section of the website.
Examples of programmes already run include School Podcast Project, European Language Day taster sessions, Beginners Latin Short Course, Month of Spanish and Christmas Around The World.

European Day of Languages
The European Day of Languages takes place every year on the 26th September. We will be celebrating the day this year by offering fun and inspiring sessions to schools and colleges across the North East for the whole of that week (Monday 24th - Friday 28th September).
Sessions are available in French, Greek, German, Spanish, Polish, Russian, Dutch, Italian, Mandarin and Cantonese. The session content will depend upon the age and the previous knowledge of the learners but they will learn some language and about the culture of a country where the language in question is spoken.
Sessions can be adapted to suit both large and small groups and we can run a carousel of different languages as well.
We charge just £25 per hour for all our sessions and they can run at a time and date suitable for you. To book a place please contact us.
Sporting Specials
Sessions are available in Japanese, French, Greek, German, Spanish, Russian, Dutch, Italian, Mandarin and Cantonese. The session content will depend upon the age and the previous knowledge of the learners but they will learn about a particular sport, sporting hero or event that is prominent in one of the countries that speaks the language you have chosen. Students will also participate in a fun language activity relating to sport.

World Festival Series
Our World Festival Series has so far included sessions on Chinese New Year and the Japanese Cherry Blossom Festival and this summer it will be turning its attention to Bastille Day in France and to the festival of San Fermín, which includes the largest bull-running event in Spain. As Bastille Day takes place on Saturday 14th July and the San Fermín Festival runs from 6th - 14th July, we will be providing fun and inspiring sessions based on each of these wonderful festivals throughout July.
