With the rise in tuition fees in England, studying for a degree abroad not only offers students the prospect of enjoying an amazing and unsurpassable experience, but a cheaper alternative to attending university in parts of the United Kingdom.
We offer advice and guidance on studying, living and working abroad and also support you through the process of applying to a university abroad, including meeting foreign language requirements and seeking out possible funding.
We cover a range of topics within each unit, as would be the case with any course or qualification undertaken anywhere, but there is an emphasis on knowledge and language relevant to moving abroad and studying at university.
Each unit comprises up to 30 hours of one to one, face to face, language tuition, depending on how much you need to reach that level. In addition to the language teaching hours you also receive an initial consultation, an assessment session and a university information and guidance session.
A number of universities in Europe are now starting to offer degrees taught in English. If you are hoping to follow this route, or are taking part in the Erasmus or Socrates schemes, you may wish to take just one unit appropriate to your current level where we can provide language tuition to help you make the most of your time abroad and give you advice and guidance on living in the relevant country, (such as how to register with a doctor for example) and on any legal requirements you may need to fulfil.
The graduate jobs market is increasingly competitive and any additional skills that a job applicant can offer can only raise their chances of obtaining a post. You may also wish to combine travel and a career after university.
The Language Faculty also offers language tuition with a focus on business communication as an enjoyable way of acquiring a skill to help advance your career and expand the opportunities available to you.
The Language faculty provides tuition in a range of languages including Japanese, French, Polish, German, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, Italian, Mandarin, Cantonese, Dutch, Urdu and Greek but please contact us if there are other languages you would like to learn as we do offer other languages and our range is constantly expanding!
If you are interested in taking part in our Career and Skills Development Programme, please contact us with your basic requirements and we will get back to you as soon as possible to arrange an initial consultation.
