Language Service for Businesses
A significant amount of UK trade is lost due to a lack of foreign language skills and intercultural understanding. This is due to companies restricting their business to the UK as they consider themselves ill equipped to compete in the global marketplace and also to high instances of miscommunication occuring in the dealings of those that have already moved into the international arena.
 
The Language Faculty assists businesses in improving their international relations by providing tailored business language programmes. These exist in a variety of different languages, from German to Japanese, Spanish to Mandarin, French to Polish. We continue to expand our breadth of languages to ensure that we can meet the demands of any client.

 

We also support businesses who operate solely within the English speaking world but have staff from all over the globe. We offer tuition in English as a Foreign Language, should your staff require support in that area, and can focus on any topics causing particular difficulty. In addition, we provide support and foreign language tuition to staff from the UK who wish to communicate better with colleagues whose first language is not English.

 

All our programmes are designed specifically to meet the requirements of your business, whether that involves working with individuals or groups, concentrating on spoken or written communication, or teaching general or industry-specific language.

Career and Skills Development Programme  (for individuals)

The job market is increasingly competitive and any additional skills that an applicant can offer can only raise their chances of obtaining a post or securing that promotion. You may also wish to combine travel and a career or work abroad.

 

The Language Faculty also offers language tuition with a focus on business communication as an enjoyable way of acquiring a skill to help advance your career and expand the opportunities available to you.

 

The Language faculty provides tuition in a range of languages including Spanish, Polish, German, Japanese, French, Russian, Chinese, Urdu, Arabic, Punjabi, Dutch, Greek and Italian but please contact us if there are other languages you would like to learn as our range is constantly expanding.


Tuition is available on a one to one basis both in person and via skype.
